Within the Silences

Have you ever noticed the sound,

When there is nothing to hear

But the sound within the silences?

The sound can be so strong,

As though it could stretch on for eternity,

The depth within the silences.

It can travel right through you,

Grabbing a hold of you like it will never let go,

The strength within the silences.

All you have to do is listen,

Listen to what it has to say,

The voice within the silences.

It always has something to say,

But mostly it preaches of peace,

The inner peace within the silences.

For a moment life slows down,

And there is nothing there,

Just the sound within the silences.
